Uppsala University Coin Cabinet – Translations from the Latin

Translations from Latin on Royal Swedish medals

We offer here the chance to find the Swedish translations of the Latin inscriptions on the Swedish Royal medals registered in Bror Emil Hildebrand’s catalogue from 1874/1875 (Sveriges och svenska konungahusets minnespenningar praktmynt och  belöningsmedaljer, I-II). The translations were made by senior lecturer Emanuel Svenberg and have been written in digital form by Dr Peter Sjökvist.
