Exhibitions
Objects from Uppsala University´s art collection can be seen in many different places.
From 1 May 2017, the part of the University’s collection of paintings and sculpture that was previously exhibited at Uppsala Castle is no longer accessible. This part of the collection has now been taken down, as part of a process of renewal centering on Gustavianum Uppsala University Museum. The aim of this work is to find new ways of making more of the collection accessible to the public, partly through new exhibitions in the Gustavianum building.
Linnaeus’s Hammarby is open to visitors during the summer season. Enjoy the beautiful garden and take a guided tour through what was once Linnaeus’s summer residence.
