Due to the installation of a new museum, we have very limited opportunities to receive research and/or teaching visits March – June 2024.

From the end of June 2024, some parts of the collections will be available in the new museum.

Picture enquiries and requests
Only queries relating to works in the art collection of Uppsala University will be answered. We are unable to respond to general enquiries regarding art, valuations etc.. At present we have a very limited capacity for taking on new commissions to furnish premises with objects from the collection.

Visit the art collections
Hammarby, Linnaeus’s summer residence, is open to visitors during the summer season. Read more about the opening times of Hammarby here. Researchers and students can have access to other parts of the collections by agreement. Phone or email the art collections in order to book a time. Please allow sufficient time for your enquiry to be processed.
